Baker's Table exists to encourage you to cultivate space around your table. I hope to remind you that life at the table isn't solely about pretty details or making yummy foods. It's about what happens when we gather together, slow down, and help each other taste and see the goodness of God. I believe this kind of community is only possible when we first experience the grace that came in the form of a broken loaf of bread and a cup of wine.
I believe that life around the table holds the power to change you. One encounter at the table changed me forever. The most gracious Host loved me much that he invited me to his table. This invitation came with a cost-He made the incomprehensible choice to gift the life of his Son, Jesus, so that I could share communion with him at the table. The story of God's love and grace for me changed me and cultivated within me a desire to be a part of inviting others to the table in creative and unique ways. What a privilege to spend my moments sharing life with others around the table
When I'm not in the kitchen or around the table, I attempt to live life to the fullest. Often this looks like eating (or cooking) good food, exploring new cities, or cultivating a space for people to sit around my dining room table and be seen, loved, and of course, well-fed. I am forever in pursuit of a good time and very likely to throw a party on a random Tuesday evening just because I found an Asian recipe I want to attempt to make.
Friends, I would be giddy and incredibly honored if you would pull up a seat and join me at the table.

My love for people is what continues to bring me to the table. At the table, there is an opportunity to encounter a depth of intimacy where you're loved in the middle of your mess and brokenness, not because of your performance but because God's grace is sufficient. All are welcome here as we cry together in suffering and celebrate life's joys over feasts. Disappointments, questions, fears, and vulnerability have space here as we pursue intentional relationship with each other around the table.

I adore exploring the wonderful world God created. Whether people-watching on the streets of DC, rooftop pasta-making class in Italy, or camping on the mountainside in Nepal, I always love a reason to explore a new place. Fun fact, I've traveled to 15 countries...and counting.

My love for people is what initially brought me to the table. I've found something transforming takes place when we enter the joy and sorrow of each other. I believe this happens as we live daily life with one another, pursuing each other with intentionality.
